The beautiful old town of Annecy is a lovely blend of old and new. The Vielle Ville built along the banks of waterways running from the lake is a lovely place to stroll stopping to brouse the chic boutiques and lunching in one of the numerous cafes and restaurants. Annecy is a great base for touring around the lake or taking an excursion into the alps.
